The Salomon TOUNDRA PRO CSWP Black / Bk / Magnet FW18-19 boots are insulated using NASA-approved Aspen Aerogels ™ technology and are ready to work in the harshest winter conditions down to -40 ° C. The creation of Aspen Aerogels ™ microfiber, based on the lightest synthetic material originally intended for use in NASA astronaut suits, allowed Salomon designers to drastically reduce the weight and volume of insulation in shoes while maintaining the specified performance characteristics.
