Iconic Viscontea pendant lamp by Achille and Piero Castiglioni for Flos around 1960.

The Viscontea is the result of Castiglioni's experiments with cocoon resin in the sixties which led also to the creation of the famous Gatto and Taraxacum lamps

The enigmatic cloud like design produces a diffused light effect.
