This sophisticated lamp is a testament to innovative design and superb craftsmanship. Entirely crafted by hand, this piece is brought to life using black paper clay, an innovative blend of cellulose and natural fibers added to the clay mixture to create a unique artistic medium. The conical silhouette tapers into a wide rim, marked by bold horizontal and vertical ridges.Hung in a high-ceiling dining room or in a long foyer, this timeless lamp will diffuse a warm, ethereal glow in any decor. The pendant is not supplied with ceiling rose or ceiling fixings.
Finishes: "cartoccio" (striped), smooth or "corteccia" (large stripes).
The cartocci in paper clay are sculptures which are always different from one another, unique pieces with a strong personality. They are completely handmade with a long complex procedure and they can vary in size and shape during the making process or the firing. Therefore the eventual differences are to be seen as an added value and they prove their exclusiveness.
